Marthoma Suvishesha Sevika Sanghom, a catalystic force in the reformation and empowerment of the women of the Marthoma Church, has completed 105 years in its mission. The spiritual fervour evinced by the women of the Marthoma Church in the 19th century paved the way for the formation of the Sevika Sanghom.

Praise be to God Almighty for His grace and mercy that have enabled the Mar Thoma Voluntary Evangelists’ Association (MTVEA) to function as the voluntary missionary wing of the Mar Thoma Church for the past hundred years.

The contemporary relevance of everything is based on their need and inevitability. The primary and most important mission of the Church is to proclaim the Gospel. This is precisely the message that the Lord imparts to His disciples through the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). When we reflect on the relevance of conventions in today's context, two differing opinions may arise.

When did the first Gospel convention take place? While pointing to an exact time or place might be challenging, the roots of Gospel conventions can be traced back to Jesus’s public ministry. His preaching in synagogues, on mountain tops, in homes, and by the seaside—places where large crowds gathered to hear His life transforming message—serves as the foundational event and model for Gospel conventions.

The Acts of the Apostles is a book that describes the growth of the early church and the spread of the gospel of Christ. It is traditionally believed that the book was written by the physician Luke, as it begins, addressing to "Theophilus."

വനിതാ മന്ദിരത്തിൽ താമസിച്ചു പഠിച്ച വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾ സഭയിലും സമൂഹത്തിലും കുടുംബത്തിലും അനു ഗ്രഹകരമായ ക്രൈസ്‌തവ സാക്ഷ്യം നിറവേറ്റുന്നു. പൂർവ്വ വിദ്യാർത്ഥിനികളുടെ സംഘടന പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. പ്രായപരിധിയില്ലാതെ എല്ലാവർക്കും പഠി ക്കാവുന്ന വിവിധ കോഴ്‌സുകൾ ആണ് ഇപ്പോൾ വനിതാമന്ദിരത്തിൽ ക്രമീകരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. വിവിധ കോഴ്സു‌കളിലായി 100 പേർ പഠനം നടത്തുന്നു.
 

ഏബ്രഹാം മാർത്തോമ്മായുടെ സ്വപ്നം സാക്ഷാത്ക്കരിക്കുമാറ് ഈ കാലഘട്ടത്തിലും മൂത്താംപാക്കൽ സാധു കൊച്ചുകുഞ്ഞ് ഉപദേശി, കോളാകോട്ട് ജോൺ ഉപദേശി, പുഞ്ചമണ്ണിൽ മാമ്മൻ ഉപദേശി, കരിമ്പിൽ ചെറിയാച്ചൻ ആദിയായവരും സംഘം പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്ക് പിന്നിട്ട നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയ വൈദീക പ്രമുഖരും തല മുറകളിലൂടെ പുനർജ്ജനിക്കണം. വിവിധ തൊഴിലുകളിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നവർ ആയിരിക്കുന്ന ഇടങ്ങ ളിൽ നിർബന്ധമോ, പരപ്രേരണയോ, പ്രതിഫ ലേച്ഛയോ കൂടാതെ ഇടവക മിഷനുകളിൽ സജീവമാകണം. ഇടവകകളും ഇടവകമിഷനുകളും ഓരോരോ മിഷൻഫീൽഡുകളാണ്. ഇടവകമിഷൻ അംഗ ങ്ങൾ സുവിശേഷകരാണ്. ഭാഗ്യസ്മ‌രണീയനായ സഖറിയാസ് തിരുമേനി പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുള്ളതുപോലെ “സുവിശേഷം എല്ലാവരിലൂടെയും എല്ലാവരിലേക്കും പകരപ്പെടണം”.
 

സഭയുടെ സാക്ഷ്യവും ദർശനവും പങ്കുവെക്കുന്നതാകണം നമ്മുടെ യോഗങ്ങൾ.
ഓരോ കാലത്തെയും സഭ എങ്ങനെ കാണുന്നുവെന്നും അതിൻ്റെ വെല്ലുവിളികളെ നേരിടാൻ വിശ്വാസികൾക്കു എങ്ങനെ കഴിയണമെന്നും തിരുവചനത്തിലൂടെ പങ്കുവെക്കാൻ യോഗങ്ങൾക്ക് കഴിയണം. നൂറു വർഷം മുൻപ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന പ്രതിസന്ധികളും പ്രത്യേകതകളുമല്ല ഈ കാലത്തിനുള്ളത്. കാലത്തെയും അതത് കാലം ഉയർത്തുന്ന പ്രതിസന്ധികളെയും വിവേചിക്കുവാനും ക്രിസ്‌തു കേന്ദ്രീകൃതമായ ജീവിതം നയിക്കുവാൻ വിശ്വാസ സമൂഹത്തിന് കരുത്ത് നൽകുന്നതുമായ സന്ദേശങ്ങൾ യോഗങ്ങളിൽ ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു

ആൾദൈവങ്ങളും മനുഷ്യ ദൈവങ്ങളും വ്യവഹാരം നടത്തുന്ന ഒരു കാലഘട്ടത്തിലാണ് നാം ജീവിക്കുന്നത്. പലപ്പോഴും വ്യക്തിപരമായ ഉയർച്ചക്കും സ്വയ ഉന്നതിക്കും ക്രിസ്‌തു സുവിശേഷം ബലിയാടായി തീരുന്നു. ഈ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലാണ് പൗലൊസ് ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതും ദൈവത്തെ കാണിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നതും. ഒരു പക്ഷെ അവർക്ക് തങ്ങൾ ദേവന്മാരെണെന്നു പറഞ്ഞു നിഷ്കളങ്കരായ മനുഷ്യരെ തെറ്റിദ്ധരിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ കഴിയുമായിരുന്നു.

എന്നാൽ പൗലൊസിൻ്റെ സുവിശേഷത്തെക്കുറി ച്ചുള്ള എരിവ് അവനെ വ്യത്യസ്‌തനാക്കിത്തീർത്തു.
